I grew up in Northern CA — a tomboy all the way. I couldn’t wait to get out there and build tree forts for neighborhood gatherings, swing off the barn roof onto the train car rooftops, raise bunnies as a family, and draw pictures because we didn’t have a television. I wrote stories about the neighborhood kids, imagining their lives at home, and would have public readings in the tree fort. They in turn would tell stories about how it really is as I made fake coffee for them to keep it going.

Truly, nothing has changed.

I am a modern abstract painter with a passion for animals and narrative and books. Inspired by color, and the energy of paint, little stories emerge in the process. I am deeply influenced by Diebenkorn, Tiebauld, and the bold energy of abstract expressionism.
